Press & Collaboration
Podcast guest. Panel speaker. Curriculum collaborator. Brand partner. Community co-creator. If the work aligns, the conversation is worth having. If it doesn't, the answer is no — kindly and clearly.
Who Moka Is
Markedia 'Moka' Hinds is the founder of Moka Medicine — a perceptual framework for cycle-breaking parents, leaders, and anyone ready to stop being run by their conditioning. Her work sits at the intersection of neuroscience, somatic healing, inner child work, and self-trust.
Trained with Dr. Niki Elliott (Heart Center Connections, Polyvagal Theory, Kundalini Yoga, Trauma-Informed Therapy) through Peace4Kids, Moka brings both the embodied and the intellectual — the framework and the feeling of it.
She speaks in plain language about things that usually hide behind jargon: subconscious programming, nervous system capacity, identity-level transformation, and the specific medicine of belonging to yourself.
Topics Moka Speaks On
Polyvagal Theory without the jargon. Regulation vs. calm. Why your body is running a program you didn't consciously install — and what to do about it.
The 0–7 subconscious window. What children record from their caregivers' nervous systems. How to parent differently without burning yourself down in the process.
Why behavior change doesn't work without identity work. The architecture of the subconscious and how early programming shapes every relationship, decision, and money pattern.
Why you can't hold what your nervous system isn't calibrated for. The somatic roots of abundance — and how regulation is the prerequisite for sustainable wealth.
What it actually means to belong to yourself. The patterns of self-abandonment, people-pleasing, and outer seeking — and how perception shifts change everything.
For leaders, traders, and anyone making consequential decisions from a dysregulated state. Precision, not softness. The nervous system that shows up under pressure.
Ways to Collaborate
Moka is a practiced, grounded guest — direct, warm, and unapologetically specific. She does not speak in circles. If your audience is interested in nervous system work, cycle-breaking, parenting, somatic healing, or the inner work of wealth — the conversation will land.
Live events, virtual summits, professional panels. Moka speaks from embodied knowledge, not slide decks. Topics: nervous system literacy, cycle-breaking, conscious parenting, emotional regulation in leadership, and the somatic roots of financial capacity.
Moka partners only with brands and communities whose values align with the work. Health, wellness, somatic tools, conscious parenting, mental health, financial empowerment for communities of color. If it doesn't belong in the container, it doesn't get in.
Organizations, nonprofits, and educational institutions: Moka is open to conversations about curriculum development, training facilitation, and co-created programming — particularly for organizations serving parents, leaders, and communities of color.
