The Call Structure

Every First of the Month.

Each call follows the same structure so your nervous system knows what to expect. Predictability is regulation. Consistency is the medicine.

Opening

We arrive together. Grounding. Breath. Setting the container for the hour ahead. Your nervous system begins to shift before a single word of teaching is spoken.

Check-In

Where are you today? Not where you think you should be. Where you actually are. Honest, brief, witnessed by community.

Teaching

The nervous system education — Polyvagal Theory, the four states, autonomic and parasympathetic science, felt safety, co-regulation, and the real neuroscience behind somatic practice. You will understand your body at a level that changes how you move through the world.

Practice

We do the practice together. Breathwork, Kundalini, somatic movement, or self-regulation tools. You experience the shift in real time — not as a concept but as a felt reality in your body.

Integration

Making meaning of what came up. How does this apply to your daily life, your parenting, your relationships, your work? Integration is where the practice becomes lived.

Regulation Closing

We close together — regulated, resourced, and anchored. You leave differently than you arrived. And over time that difference compounds.

The Framework

Polyvagal Theory · Trauma-Informed Therapy · Kundalini Yoga

This call is rooted in the work of Dr. Nikki Elliott and the framework of The Mindful Leaders Project — an organization dedicated to bringing nervous system education and somatic healing into communities that need it most.

We combine three frameworks that work together: Polyvagal Theory — the science of how your nervous system responds to the world. Trauma-informed therapy — understanding how stored trauma shows up in the body and how to work with it gently and effectively. Kundalini Yoga — ancient technology for moving energy, releasing stored patterns, and returning to the regulated, grounded state that is your natural baseline.

You do not need to know anything about any of these to show up. You just need to show up.
